Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to lead the go-to-market of our sustainable rewards platform. As a Head of Sales at Trashie.io, you will be responsible for identifying and developing advertising relationships with strategic targets in order to drive sales revenue and market expansion of our Rewards and Recycling Program.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for growing and managing advertiser relationships and securing exclusive sponsored offers. The Head of Sales’ efforts will be central to creating advertising programs that resonate with our customer base and drive the desired outcome for advertisers.
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Leader who owns all levels of accounts, and has a strong background in sales leadership, particularly in building marketing and advertising programs. This person will excel in relationship-building and closing deals with a deep understanding of consumer marketing metrics and data-driven strategy development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive North American sales strategy to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Manage all aspects of the sales communication and negotiation process and keep senior management abreast of status by providing accurate and timely business estimates, forecasts, and administrative paperwork
- Lead sales efforts to sign major enterprise retailers and partners across key sectors.
- Lead the development and management of partnerships across key sectors such as retail, entertainment, consumer packaged goods, lifestyle, health, and beauty.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new partners to expand market reach.
- Cultivate, develop and maintain relationships with key makers at client level
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities.
- Provide ongoing support and training to partners to ensure alignment with company goals and product knowledge.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives that incentivize reward redemption and loyalty spending by customers, and align seamlessly with the marketing objectives of our brand partners.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create joint campaigns and initiatives.
- Leverage in-depth analytics of customer data to understand consumer behaviors and preferences and drive the success of our reward programs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 Years Experience in Ad Sales.
- At least 3 years Strategic Leadership and Relationship Management with a focus on building and maintaining high-level relationships.
- Advanced Sales and Negotiation Skills including a demonstrated ability to create, build, and sustain relationships.
- Network of marketing contacts in acquisition and retention.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data and translate it into effective loyalty program strategies.
- Proactive and Independent Work Ethic.
- Exceptional Communication and Listening Skills
- Willingness to Travel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Familiarity with the latest automated business development tools, such as ChatGPT.
