Salary Range: $180,000 – $250,000 + Equity (based on experience)
Company Overview: Easy Aerial is a fast-growing startup building autonomous drone solutions for defense and commercial use. We’re looking for a seasoned engineering leader to own our full engineering function—from product concept to full-rate manufacturing. This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to define processes, guide multiple teams, and shape the future of our hardware and software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the transformation of our product roadmap into actionable engineering execution
- Define and implement processes for how engineering work gets done across teams
- Bring deep expertise across hardware, software, and systems engineering to take products from concept to manufacturing
- Manage and mentor managers across the U.S. and Serbia, ensuring alignment and productivity
- Dive into technical details when needed to unblock teams or drive innovation
- Coordinate cross-functionally with product, hardware, and international teams to deliver on ambitious goals
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience managing engineering roadmaps and teams
- Background in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering
- Proven ability to lead complex projects from concept through production
- Strong people management and cross-cultural collaboration skills
- Bonus: Startup experience or experience scaling engineering teams globally
