We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead our engineering team and drive the development of cutting-edge drone technologies.

How You'll Make an Impact:
- Lead and manage the engineering team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to drive high performance and innovation.
- Oversee the design, development, and testing of autonomous drone systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and customer success, to align engineering projects with company objectives and customer needs.
- Develop and implement engineering processes, best practices, and methodologies to improve efficiency, product quality, and delivery timelines.
- Conduct regular reviews of engineering projects to monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure timely completion.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure Easy Aerial remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Manage engineering budgets and resource allocation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
What Makes You a Good Fit:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or related field); Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of engineering experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within the aerospace or defense industries.
- Strong knowledge of UAV systems, autonomous technologies, and engineering design processes.
- Proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams and managing complex projects from concept to production.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with government contracts and compliance is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards is highly desirable.
