Salary Range: $75,000 - $120,000

We are seeking a Drone Pilot with Engineering/QA Experience to operate our UAVs and ensure the highest standards of performance and reliability.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Operate and pilot autonomous drone systems for various applications, including testing, inspections, and surveillance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to validate the performance and functionality of UAV systems during flight operations.
• Conduct pre-flight checks, ensuring all systems are operational and compliant with safety protocols.
• Gather data and provide feedback on drone performance, identifying areas for improvement and reporting any issues to the engineering team.
• Assist in the development and execution of test plans and procedures for new products and features.
• Document flight operations, results, and observations to support quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices related to drone operations and safety.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
• FAA Remote Pilot Certificate is required.
• 2+ years of experience piloting UAVs, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of UAV systems, flight operations, and safety protocols.
• Experience in quality assurance or testing processes, with a focus on performance evaluation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with drone software and telemetry systems is a plus.
