Embedded Engineer

Salary Range: $75,000 - $120,000

We are seeking an Embedded Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of our advanced embedded systems for drone applications.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Design, develop, and test embedded software and firmware for autonomous drone systems, including flight control and sensor integration.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of embedded systems with mechanical and electrical components.
• Conduct system-level testing and validation to ensure performance and reliability of embedded solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug embedded systems, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Document system designs, architecture, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure maintainability.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies to drive innovation in embedded system development.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to enhance product quality and performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in embedded software development, preferably in the aerospace or robotics industries.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Python, with a strong understanding of embedded systems design.
• Experience with microcontrollers, RTOS, and hardware interfaces (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with software development tools (e.g., Git, JIRA) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Knowledge of UAV systems or robotics is a plus.
• Understanding of ISO9001 and AS9100 standards is a plus.
